New Horizon Co-op is hiring a Deli Supervisor at our Downtown Food Store in Grande Prairie, Alberta.

What you’ll do:
Provide an excellent customer experience
Provide supervision to Team Members in the department as necessary
Ensure all Team Members perform their duties in compliance with established health and safety regulations
Prepare a wide variety of deli meats, cheeses, party trays, fresh salads, deli sandwiches and hot and cold entrees
Ensure all products are properly stored and rotated in the cooler and retail area
Assist in receiving in-coming products and inspect for freshness and quality
Other duties, as assigned

Who you are and what you have:
Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
Enthusiastic approach to work with strong organizational skills
Must be responsible and possess great leadership skills
Retail Supervisory experience is an asset
Experience working in food preparation
Heavy lifting up to 50lbs may be required
Practical working knowledge of daily retail operations
Able to work independently and in a team
Availability to work on a very flexible schedule (Evening shifts on weekdays and weekends)
