We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide client-centered therapy services in community, home, and school settings. The successful candidate will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and collaborate closely with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to enhance occupational performance in daily activities. This role involves supporting clients in achieving optimal functioning by modifying environments and fostering strong partnerships.
Duties and Responsibilities
Complete occupational therapy assessments and treatment planning in the community working with clients and families
Support needed to help clients improve their occupational performance in daily activities and tasks
Assistance in helping clients thrive by collaborating with partners, assessing and modifying environments, and seeking optimal fit to enhance overall functioning
Provide therapy services in community, home, or school settings
Collaborate with clients, families, and other health professionals
Qualifications
University degree in Occupational Therapy
Member of the Quebec Order of Occupational Therapists (OEQ) and Ontario College of Occupational Therapists (COTO), or eligible
1 - 2 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist; strong preference for candidates with pediatric client experience
Professional proficiency in both English and French strongly preferred
Strong communication and clinical reasoning skills
Driver’s license and access to a vehicle
