About the Role
We’re seeking a technically driven and collaborative BIM Manager to join our Digital Practice Team. This role is pivotal in advancing our Building Information Modeling (BIM) capabilities across a diverse portfolio of projects, with a focus on large-scale industrial work. You’ll lead BIM implementation strategies, support cross-functional teams, and drive innovation through technical excellence and digital integration.
What You’ll Do
Lead BIM Execution: Manage BIM processes and tools across complex, multi-stakeholder projects, ensuring alignment with internal and national standards (including ISO 19650).
Collaborate Across Teams: Build strong working relationships with Project Managers, BIM Coordinators, Enterprise Technology, and Innovation Drivers to ensure seamless communication and issue resolution.
Support Strategy & Compliance: Implement and uphold company BIM policies and strategies, adapting approaches to meet project-specific needs in quality, process, and HR management.
Drive Technical Excellence: Perform clash detection using ACC, Navisworks, or similar tools; develop complex/parametric Revit families and conduct Generative Design studies.
Champion Innovation: Continuously evaluate BIM-related software and develop business cases for new investments; contribute to the development of Digital Twin integration strategies and data pipelines.
Enable Lifecycle Thinking: Support structured data handover for asset management readiness and contribute to long-term digital transformation initiatives.
What You Bring to the Table
Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Revit, Dynamo, Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud (BIM360) Build, and Autodesk Platform Services. Programming experience in Python, C#, Visual Basic is a strong asset.
Strategic Mindset: Experience implementing BIM strategies and contributing to digital program governance.
Communication Skills: Ability to lead cross-disciplinary teams and communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
Education & Experience: Graduate from Architecture or Engineering Technology or BIM Management Program. University graduate in related field.; 5-7 years of experience in complex, multi-discipline projects.
Additional Skills: Familiarity with SQL databases, Power BI, Digital Twin and Reality Capture platforms.
