The Manager, Brand Health & Insights plays a key supporting role in advancing Manulife’s brand measurement and insight capabilities. Working closely with the Director, this role helps execute global brand health tracking, uncover actionable insights, and deliver strategic guidance that informs brand planning and performance optimization. The ideal candidate combines analytical rigor with storytelling finesse, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Position Responsibilities:
Market Research & Performance Tracking
Support the implementation of global brand health measurement frameworks, including brand health measurement, Ad Tracking, and Share of Voice etc.
Coordinate primary and secondary research initiatives across customers, brand, and competitive landscapes.
Partner with brand leads and Global Performance Marketing Shared Services on research briefs and campaign performance tracking.
Assist in managing vendor relationships and evaluating methodologies to ensure quality and innovation.
Strategic Analysis & Insight Development
Analyze brand performance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
Translate research findings into clear, actionable insights that support brand strategy and campaign development.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support MROI initiatives and contribute to modeling efforts (e.g., MMM, simulators).
Localization Guidance
Assist in providing market-specific input on brand messaging and campaign adaptation.
Work with regional teams to ensure brand relevance and consistency across diverse markets.
Reporting & Communication
Prepare and deliver insight-rich reports for internal stakeholders, including the Global Brand Leadership Team.
Take full ownership of routine reports and initiatives such as paid media Share of Voice reporting, brand KPI reporting, and target setting.
Support the coordination and updating of annual global brand KPIs by collecting inputs from various markets and consolidating these KPIs into a global roll-up.
Support communications with global markets during the questionnaire review stage by collecting questionnaire inputs and coordinating translation reviews, etc.
Contribute to visual storytelling and presentation development to enhance clarity and impact.
Support executive enablement efforts by helping senior leaders interpret and apply brand insights.
Required Qualifications:
5-7 years of experience in brand insights, marketing analytics, or market research.
Strong understanding of brand equity, consumer insights, marketing performance metrics, and market research methodologies.
Attention to detail, with ability to work with large data sets and conduct thorough analysis.
Experience with data visualization tools and insight platforms.
Ability to synthesize data into compelling narratives and recommendations.
Collaborative mindset with experience working across teams and geographies
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working at a market research agency
Familiarity with advanced analytics methodologies (e.g., regression analysis, MMM)
Proficiency in tools such as Power BI for dashboarding and data visualization

Salary range is expected to be between
$86,250.00 CAD - $155,250.00 CAD
