Job Description What is the opportunity? As a Senior Manager, Enablement and Optimization, Transaction Banking, you will provide strategic and tactical support to help Treasury Solution Specialists in both Corporate Client Group and Mid-Market Commercial to attract (new) and retain business across Canada. You will actively participate in the proposal management process provides direct support to the sales force by developing client communications to support RBC's revenue generation efforts. You will also play a key role in Transaction Banking Enablement activities. You will collaborate closely with business and functional partners across Transaction Banking and Commercial Banking, to identify and prioritize initiatives, manage delivery plans, effectively manage risks and issues, and embed & sustain go-to-market operating model. What will you do? Contributes to individual and unit sales objectives by providing appropriate solutions in proposals and RFP’s with a continued focus on relationship building, revenue generation and client loyalty. Provides solutions and business advice in client communications designed to satisfy clients total financial services needs with a consistent focus on building long term RBC client relationships. Provides guidance to other team members by championing consistency and accuracy in client communications as it relates to revenue generation, cost effectiveness, operational / administrative effectiveness, compliance, etc. Develops and maintains relationships with service partners to optimize service levels and operational opportunities. The role requires an individual with exceptional knowledge of RBC, various Transaction Banking Products, and Qvidian The individual must have the ability to manage tight timelines and conflicting priorities, develop client sales, and marketing strategies to enable the sales team. Collaborate with partners across Transaction Banking (Trade, Treasury, Deposits, Client Experience and Client Implementation & Integration), Commercial Banking, Products, Canadian Banking Operations, T&O Payment & Trade Ops (PTO), and other functional partners (e.g., tech teams, data partners) to make strategic decisions, resolve blockers / key issues, and execute business transformation initiatives. Analyze data and develop business cases to inform strategic business decisions What do you need to succeed? Must have: University/College education or professional designation equivalents or relevant work experience Extensive knowledge of the RBC Transaction Banking (Cash Management and Trade) Products, emerging industry trends, and the ability to speak to broader RBC strategies, relevant industry/legislative issues Strong analytical skills and proven ability to match client need with product/structure solution Strong written and verbal communication skills, including exacting attention to detail related to complex and customized documentation requirements Ability to prioritize in managing multiple and sometimes conflicting time demands Nice to have: Fluent in French What’s in it for you?
