What You’ll Be Doing
Responsible for mentoring (including feedback on skills and behavior) and providing guidance on safe work practices for less experienced MTBIs and apprentices.
Lead the assembly of manufactured and purchased components to meet the specifications as indicated by assembly drawings. Assemblies may include complex arrangements requiring fitting and adjustment to meet close tolerances.
Review jobs before assembly starts and collaborate with engineering to obtain design clarification as required.
Assist and provide guidance to teams of assemblers and others as necessary.
Complete assembly, installation, and validation of specifications for machines of varying size and complexity.
Install equipment on the customer site, including training of customer on equipment and support through SAT.

Key Requirements
Ministry Trades Certificate of Qualification and 8 yrs. of experience or proven competency
Basic Shop Safety Rules and Knowledge of duties under OHSA & WSIB
Must have a valid passport and driver’s license, as well as the ability to travel to customer sites both locally and internationally.
Must be available to travel for periods of up to 2 weeks
Additional hours may be required for scheduled or unscheduled onsite customer service on evenings or weekends.
