Position Overview:
Reporting to the Manager, Design, the Junior Graphic Designer supports the Senior Graphic Designer in creating print repeats, colorways, and computer-assisted designs. This role is also responsible for tracking styles to be photographed, taking off-figure photos, and editing them in Photoshop to produce clean, high-quality images while maintaining accurate system information.
The Junior Graphic Designer will assist the design team with trim artwork, document page setup, and other design-related tasks. They will also contribute to process improvements within the department and identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and creativity.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Handle graphic projects from start to finish
Help in editing prints and colorways
Take photos of approved styles of the line and Keep track of samples to Photograph
Maintain image library files and adjust stages in PLM accordingly
Help in Photoshop our styles to clean off-figure images
Help to create technical sketches and Power Point document setup;
Contribute positively to team dynamics.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONs:
Requirement: Collegial degree in graphic design or equivalent
Preferably 1-2 years’ experience in the fashion industry (not mandatory)
Excellent knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator software
Outstanding interpersonal skills & team oriented
Bilingual (English and French) written and spoken
Demonstrated detail orientation; high sense of organization;
Ability to manage multiple projects;
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to meet tight deadlines;
