About the Role We’re looking for a strategic, data-driven, and client-focused leader to join our team as Director, Collision Operations. In this role, you’ll oversee all aspects of Element’s collision-related service lines; including FNOL, repair management, subrogation and recovery, workflow coordination, and post-repair quality assurance. You’ll drive operational excellence, optimize supplier networks, lead digital transformation, and ensure exceptional client satisfaction across a high-volume, mission-critical environment. This position is a key enterprise leadership role, directly shaping Element’s profitability, service quality, and customer retention through efficient and innovative collision operations. What You’ll Do Oversee end-to-end collision lifecycle functions, including FNOL intake, repair management, subrogation, and quality control. Manage daily operations across contact center support, repair workflow, recovery, and certified quality review teams. Ensure SLAs and quality standards are consistently met or exceeded. Partner with Supplier Management to optimize national repair shop performance and negotiate pricing structures. Drive strategic growth by improving Net Promoter Score (NPS), reducing cycle times, and supporting client retention. Lead digital transformation initiatives to automate workflows, improve transparency, and enhance client experience. Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, Claims, Product, and Client Experience to ensure integrated delivery. Analyze financial and operational KPIs to drive revenue, efficiency, and network optimization. Build, develop, and mentor a high-performing leadership team overseeing multiple functional areas. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Automotive Services, Insurance, or related field. 7–10+ years of senior leadership experience in collision, claims, or repair operations. Proven success managing multi-function operational teams and large-scale service networks. Strong background in supplier negotiation, network design, and cost optimization. Experience leading contact center operations or digital claims transformation initiatives. Preferred Qualifications Education: MBA or JD preferred. Demonstrated success driving NPS improvement, revenue retention, and client advocacy. Expertise in data-driven decision-making and performance analytics. Experience managing technology-enabled workflows or automation platforms. Strong leadership presence, with ability to influence across multiple organizational levels. Current Location: Mississauga. Our Mississauga office will move to 1 Adelaide in Toronto in September 2026 The hiring base salary range for this position is $133,400 to $183,400 annually. Actual compensation within this range will be dependent upon the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. Please note that the disclosed salary range is solely for candidates hired to perform work within this geographic location. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location.
