Your challenge: In this role, you’ll be responsible for the strategic and operational management of a specialized linguistic services team. Your mission: Optimize the linguistic experience by meeting the needs and expectations of internal partners and building lasting business relationships. You’ll also be responsible for ongoing efforts to modernize the services we provide, in partnership with our suppliers and in compliance with our internal processes. What you bring to the table Bachelor’s degree in a related field At least nine years of relevant experience, including at least five years in a management role Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered Significant experience working in a linguistic services department Knowledge of French required Advanced level proficiency in English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients Knowledge of market trends and tools used in the linguistics industry General knowledge of financial institutions Action oriented, Communicates effectively, Customer Focus, Decision quality, Develops talent, Differences, Drive results, Engagement, Nimble learning, Teams #LI-Hybrid Trade Union (If applicable) At Desjardins, we believe in equity, diversity and inclusion.
