Job Description Please note: This posting is for a 4-month Winter 2026 Student placement with a start date of January 2026 and end date of April 2026. The Corporate Client Group team is responsible for managing existing client relationships, acquiring new clients and managing business risks. Product offerings include a broad range of credit, deposit, treasury management products and services. Client profiles are companies with greater than $100 MM in sales, and this team has industry sub-sector focus food & beverage, consumer goods & services and Not-for-Profit and Public Sector. The team’s focus remains on winning market share through new client acquisition, growing with our existing client base with a OneRBC approach. Holistic financial solutions are tailored to clients’ needs while maintaining an acceptable exposure and balance of risk/ reward of all business. The Associate will work with experienced professionals to gain practical/ hands-on experience in the account management of our corporate and large commercial clients, supporting their efforts in meeting commercial business unit and RVP business plans. What will you do? Prospect and develop strategies to engage new clients with the RBC value proposition. Engage in client meetings, prospect meetings, advice seminars, webinars in partnership with Centres of Influence (COIs), and will support the organization, ideation, and preparation of these events/meetings (e.g. pre-call planning questions, presentation content, industry observations/ comparables, client relationship plans). What do you need to succeed? Must-have Basic understanding of financial and credit analysis including financial statement assessment, cash flow, capital, and profitability.
