Ray-Mont Logistics is currently seeking a Shunt Truck Driver to join its vibrant team.
Schedule:
Day shift 6AM – 2PM, Monday to Friday
There are overtime opportunities, including nights and weekends.
General Tasks
As a professional team member of Ray-Mont Logistics the main responsibilities of the Shunt Truck Driver consists of the following:
1- Determine all requirements prior to shift start.
2- Pick up required vans in a given yard.
3- Position vans for unloading.
4- General Duties.
5- Prepare for shift transition.
Specific Tasks
1- Transport empty Bulk to Bulk intermodals inside the yard.
2- Transport loaded Bulk to Bulk intermodals in the yard, based on priorities provided by supervisor.
3- Transport loaded bulk/bagging intermodals from two sections in the yard to the intermodal tippers, removing empties.
4- Assist maintenance with any tasks pertaining to the pick-up / drop-off of Ray-Mont chassis.
5- During idle time, assist general laborers with their tasks, i.e. cleaning out intermodals, closing containers doors, picking up trash.
Qualifications:
Experience in Shunting or as a Truck driver;
Ability to work under pressure;
Ability to multitask and prioritize;
