Main purpose of the role: The HR Business Partner plays a key role in supporting daily HR operations and ensuring smooth execution of core HR processes. This role works closely with managers and employees to provide practical guidance, resolve issues, and maintain compliance. The HRBP also contributes to the creation, implementation, and execution of HR processes that foster best-in-class HR partnership to drive employee engagement and performance across the organization.
Main areas of responsibility: - Employee Relations: Act as a first point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and conflict resolution. Ensure supportive, effective and timely resolution to various inquiries. Provide hands-on support and coaching to managers on day-to-day people management topics, including performance conversations, team dynamics, conflict resolution, and employee development. Help build leadership capability and ensure consistent application of HR policies and practices.
- Policy Implementation: Communicate and enforce HR policies and procedures across departments. Implement and maintain up to date repository for employees’ reference.
- HR Administration, Compliance and Policy: Maintain employee records, update HRIS systems, and ensure documentation is complete and compliant with employment laws and internal policies.
- Onboarding & Offboarding: Design, implement, and maintain onboarding and offboarding procedures to ensure smooth and effective transitions. This includes preparing and updating related documentation, coordinating system access, managing compliance requirements, and supporting managers and employees throughout the process.
- Talent Acquisition: Lead and manage end-to-end recruitment processes to ensure timely and effective hiring across the organization. Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the process and maintain accurate documentation for compliance and reporting. Collaborate with internal recruitment partners when needed and contribute to continuous improvement of hiring practices to support workforce planning and business needs. Additionally, identify relevant job fairs and recruitment events, and represent the organization to promote employer branding and attract top talent.
- Training Coordination: Collaborate with the regional Learning & Development team to ensure training offers are aligned with organizational needs and support employee development. In addition, create and deliver targeted training sessions locally to address specific operational or compliance needs. Assist in coordinating training logistics, communicating schedules, and supporting delivery where needed. Maintain accurate attendance records for compliance and budgeting purposes.
- Payroll & Compensation Support: Review payroll inputs, validate data accuracy, coordinate with payroll and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely processing, run payroll if needed.
- Employee engagement and communication: Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement, foster a positive workplace culture, and improve organizational communication. Partner with leadership to design and deliver initiatives such as pulse surveys, town halls, recognition programs, and feedback mechanisms. Ensure regular updates to the team via different communication channels (email, communication screens, etc)
- Projects: Drive and execute HR-related projects across areas such as process improvement, policy updates, employee engagement, and compliance. Coordinate timelines, stakeholders, and deliverables to ensure successful implementation and measurable impact.
Function: Countries & Business Development
Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
5 + years of progressive HR experience, ideally in a business partner role
Strong knowledge of employment law, organizational development and best HR practices
Ability to influence and build trust with senior stakeholders
Proficiency in HRIS systems and data analytics tools
Experience in payroll and HRIS platforms
Fluency in English is required (reading and writing), knowledge of French is considered an asset.
