When it comes to keeping yourself and others organized, you always have a plan and a backup plan. You use your excellent communication skills to get your point across in a way everyone understands. How You’ll Make an Impact Oversee Care-First adjuster delivery of evidence based, recovery focused care for injured Albertans, and ensure timely resolution of claims. Support dispute resolution processes and ensure transparency in benefit decisions. Develop and facilitate ongoing training on Care First Regulations, standardize AMAIC Procedure and Guidelines, any regulatory updates and related system changes. Maintain workflow, production and performance expectations. Monitor monthly reports for reserving accuracy and audit files as required. Ensure claims handling practices provide fair outcomes and adhere to legislative and regulatory requirements. Liaise with government stakeholders, medical professionals and insurers to ensure alignment with evolving regulations. Champion innovative ways to maintain and improve employee engagement. Foster positive partnerships and collaboration with our managers and supervisors, legal counsel, experts, industry peers and other AMA business units. Enroll in AMA leadership educational programs and work towards insurance industry educational designations. What You Bring to the Table You have or are working towards Post secondary education in insurance, healthcare administration, or related field. You’re no newbie with at least 3 years of experience in a leadership or mentorship role Proven ability to manage change and drive performance in a regulated environment. Experience with Disability insurance, Bodily Injury or Accident Benefit claims, or in any medical field is an asset Knowledge of Alberta’s auto insurance system and Care-First framework preferred Belonging Matters Here AMA is committed to providing an inclusive, respectful, and accessible environment.
