Schedule: 7 on / 7 off Rotation (Compressed Work Schedule) - 12hr Days

Role Summary:
The Planner/Scheduler will be responsible for facilitating maintenance planning processes and plans for Bouchier, ensuring the needs of all sites are met in a timely and cost-effective manner. This position will report to the Site Manager.
Primary Responsibilities:
Develop and implement an asset management database to plan predictive and preventative maintenance activities efficiently and effectively.
Develop and document a Bill of Materials per job, per asset, to accurately capture the components required.
Develop and document time estimates for work orders and jobs to optimize resource allocation.
Develop and document a complete scope of work per job, per asset.
Work with Supply Chain personnel to ensure the required parts are ordered, kitted, and staged as per planned completion date.
Prepare work plans for daily, weekly, and long-term maintenance to ensure goals are achievable within the maintenance schedule.
Evaluate maintenance system and recommend alternative procedures if needed.
Develop and maintain preventative maintenance work packages reflective of area and regulatory standards, as well as operational requirements.
Have a basic technical and mechanical background.
Allocate appropriate resources, parts, finances, costs, and reliability information for each project.
Effectively create a 3-week Maintenance schedule for all sites.
Create weekly schedule compliance reports.
Education & Experience:
Maintenance Asset Planning Certification required.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience of Planning.
Ability to access all Client Sites in the Oilsands Region is required.
Valid Class 5 Driver’s License is required.
CSO (Common Safety Orientation) certificate is required
WHMIS 2015 certificate is required
Advanced experience with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and use of Macros.
Experience in Maximo is an asset.
