To learn more about CIBC, please visit CIBC.com What You’ll Be Doing As an integral part of the CIBC's Digital Platforms and Client Engagment group's Frontline Experience team, and reporting to the Sr. Manager, User Experience, the UX/UI Designer will support and facilitate the development of CIBC Frontline experience across multiple digital properties. The UX/UI Designer is a master storyteller, user experience evangelist and creative problem solver. You can drive design objectives and deliver innovative concepts while maintaining brand & design standards to ensure cross-site consistency. You enjoy keeping abreast on the latest design trends as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver optimal design solutions and a cohesive/compelling experience for our clients. How You’ll Succeed Concepts & Designs – As a Sr. Designer you will lead the development and manage the end-to-end UX/UI process to deliver creative digital design concepts and solutions for CIBC Frontline digital properties. This includes participating in design workshops, as well as developing storyboards, sketches/wireframes, prototypes, mockups and visual assets. User Research & Usability Testing - Participate and contribute planning usability testing & stakeholder interviews with the intention of incorporating the feedback into concept and/or application development. Standards & Guidelines – You will help define, create and maintain the CIBC Frontline design and standards documentation to help enforce CIBC’s brand coherence, accessibility standards and cross-site consistency. Project Delivery – Define and deliver the design component (e.g. wireframes, user workflows, and interaction rules) for all assigned projects by working collaboratively with key team members from various disciplines (e.g. editorial content, visual design, business analysis/product, development & quality assurance) within an agile/iterative design & development environment where timely delivery of design deliverables is critical. Relationship Building - Build and manage complex stakeholder relationships, ensuring all partners and stakeholders are appropriately engaged for design-related deliverables. You will also act as mentor and coach to new team members and will collaborate with other Sr. Designers maturing our design practice Innovation and Design workshops - You will drive activities and tasks that promote innovations during the delivery cycles and will collaborate closely with UX Strategy on ideation and early project stages with the goal to achieve a smooth and continued transition into UX Delivery. Who You Are You have education and/or 8+ years of experience in Digital Design, UX Design and/or Visual Design, Human Computer Interaction or equivalent and have experience coordinating and leading Design Thinking Workshops at large scale with multidisciplinary teams. You can demonstrate advanced expertise or knowledge in Figma, Sketch, Invision, user-centered design principles, UX research methods, mobile and responsive design, inclusive design and WCAG accessibility standards.
