Job Description The Mobile Glass Technician will be responsible for Installing windshields and auto glass in our shop or from a mobile operation unit. What you’ll be doing: Install windshields and auto glass in our shop or from a mobile operation unit. Calibrate vehicle electronics such as ADAS systems, Lane Departure Warning, Forward Collision Alert, etc. Repair chips and other glass damage. Interact with customers to ensure customer satisfaction with a job well done. Process payments from mobile customers. Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude. Maintain cleanliness of work environment. Performs a variety of maintenance and technical support on installed products and equipment. Troubleshoots, diagnoses, and resolves malfunctions of a moderately complex nature. Determines when products should be upgraded or replaced. Communicates information that requires some explanation or interpretation. Requirements: 1+ Year(s) of automotive glass installation experience. Must have a valid driver’s license. Must be able to maneuver around vehicles to position yourself safely during installations. Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, etc. for extended periods of time and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning. Capable of working any day of the week including Sundays and work in hot/cold weather conditions. Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds. Basic computer skills: ability to use a keyboard and a mouse to correctly collect and enter information into a point of sale system. Exceptional customer service skills. Attention to detail. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and team members Comfortable working in fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks to accomplish goals.
