We are seeking a part-time Strategic System Optimization Communications Lead (fixed term) to develop and manage a comprehensive communications and engagement plan across all System Optimization initiatives. This role will report directly to Strategic Development and Change Management and will ensure structured, proactive, and branded communications that support organizational awareness and engagement. This position is based in Calgary, AB, with the opportunity for extension and potential growth into a full-time role. What You Will Be Working On Develop, implement, own and maintain a rolling communications plan across multiple initiatives that directly relate to Bird’s ongoing digital transformation. Collaborate with teams (Digital Services, National Operations, Finance, Corporate Communications) to develop and execute communications. Facilitate working sessions to define message streams, frequency, audience, and delivery methods. Ensure alignment on messaging, audiences, and delivery across initiatives that is aligned to Corporate Communications best practices. Assign and manage communications production by topic and SME. Ensure consistency in branding, tone, and visual identity across all communications. Support change management, training, and other strategic initiatives as needed. What We Are Looking For 10+ years in internal communications, change management, and/or strategic planning. Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills. Experience with enterprise-wide communications planning. Experience with implementing enterprise-wide communications and/or change management for technology or systems implementations is preferred.
