The Customer Service Representative will interact with the company’s customers by addressing inquiries and resolving complaints. The position takes ownership of customer issues and provides complete end-to-end issue resolution by utilizing the resources available. The compensation for the position is $18.00 - $22.00 per hour depending on experience. Must have availability for two of the following shifts. 7a to 3p, 3p to 11p, 11p to 7a. Weekend availability on a rotating basis is a must. Third shift does offer a $2 shift differential. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Must able to answer 50 to 150 calls per shift. Must be able to take calls involving fire alarms, police, fire, and EMS. Fields customer questions and complaints; when the issue is beyond the representative’s knowledge, forwards to the assigned specialist or other appropriate staff. Ensures that appropriate actions are taken to resolve the callers problems and issues. Maintains customer accounts and records of customer interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or comments. Perform other duties assigned by management. Must be able to work one of the following shifts. 1st shift: 7am to 3pm, 2nd shift: 3pm to 11pm or 3rd shift: 11pm to 7am. Education/Qualification: Must have a minimum of two years experience working in a customer service related environment Ability to work well while multitasking Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong critical thinking skills while problem-solving Proficient skills in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel Adept at learning new software(s) Adhere to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy Must speak English Other Duties: Adheres to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy. Performs other duties as assigned.
