Job Purpose
As a key member of the Finance team the role of the Financial Analyst is to ensure accurate and efficient financial reporting specifically by supporting the Special projects and initiatives of the finance team.

Job Duties
Job Overview
The Financial Analyst position is responsible for developing and reviewing financial processes to improve financial management across the organization.
Develop robust reports to monitor results, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions.
Collaborate with internal and external business partners to ensure alignment of financial goals and objectives.
Coordinate and develop monthly, quarterly, annual and strategic plans.
Present performance analysis to senior executives to ensure effective finance and cost management
Lead periodic research projects related to proper treatment of new accounting and tax processes.
General Accounting functions:
Understand chart of accounts, department, project, cost and category codes
Assist in external audit.
Take ownership of routine internal and external inquiries involving budgeting, forecasting, and other adhoc requests.
Any other duties/projects that may be assigned.
Learn, understand and participate in the Health and Safety Program
Summary of Skills and Qualifications
University or College degree or equivalent in accounting or commerce
Demonstrated work experience in a financial analyst role.
Team player with the strong ability to work independently in a fast-paced hybrid work environment
Excellent computer skills with advanced skills in MS Office, EXCEL is a MUST
Deadline oriented, strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills
Strong organization, time management skills and the ability to prioritize responsibilities
Self-starter with a strong work ethic
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Proficient in professional business English, both written and spoken
