Dog Handler (Permanent) Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive care for dogs, including feeding, grooming, exercise, and maintaining hygiene. Clean kennels and related areas to prevent the spread of disease. Report any health issues, injuries, or concerns about the dogs to the Senior Dog Handler. Transport dogs safely and ensure their well-being during travel. Inspect kennels and equipment for maintenance needs, reporting any issues. Maintain accurate records related to dog care. Assist with the rehoming process by conducting checks (home checks, follow up's, meets with the public) and meeting potential new owners. Support new team members through buddying. Participate in dog training sessions. Assist at promotional events as required. Ensure all activities prioritise client safety, customer satisfaction, and animal welfare. Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies. Any tasks or responsibilities as requested by management within the scope of the position. Knowledge and Skills: Experience with Dogs (Essential). Qualification in Dog Care (Desirable). Clean Driving Licence (Essential). Confidence with Sharp Dogs (Essential).
