$25.74 per hour
$2.00 shift premium
$0.50 First Aid Premium

11:00 PM to 07:30 AM
Responsibilities
The Tank Wash Technician is responsible for basic cleaning processes for all systems
Cleaning of hoses and pumps, chemical and temp cleaning procedures
Ensuring that proper wash tickets are completed properly and timely
Perform general labor duties
Exterior washing and assisting with internal cleaning.
Pump flush.
Drive equipment.
Tank entry and confined space training
Operation of hand tools.
Wash work orders.
Tank steam for cleaning.
Steam product for repair.
Assist in wash order scheduling.
Boiler operation and maintenance of pumps, blowers, etc.
Identify wash orders to be completed and know your limitations.
Comfortable working either indoors or outdoors (Appropriate gear is provided).
Qualifications
Valid Driver's License.
Positive and strong work ethic.
Must be able to work at heights over 20 ft.
Positive attitude and job performance.
Shop experience, including working around steam equipment.
Must be capable of working in wet and humid conditions and exposure to normal wash rack cleaning materials.
Basic understanding of shop safety, shop work practices, mechanical systems, and use of hand and power tools.
May work above shoulder level with power and/or hand tools weighing 15lbs or less and in confined spaces.
Ability to operate a yard horse (preferred).
Must meet physical requirements of the position and have mobility, vision, hearing, and sense of smell and dexterity levels appropriate to the duties performed.
May stand and walk on level and uneven surfaces, twist, bend, push, pull, crouch, climb stairs, bend and crawl, grasp, drag, lift and carry items weighing 50lbs or less.
Grade 12 or equivalent.
Forklift Training is an asset.
