QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
Graduate from an approved School of Nursing.
Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing is desired.
Certification in Primary Care Nurse Practitioner or equivalent program is required.
Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
Possession of, and ability to maintain current registration as RN (NP) with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS).
Current BCLS certifications.
Preference will be given to individuals who possess Advanced Wound Care Certificate or greater from an accredited institution.
Experience
Minimum of three (3) years experience as a Registered Nurse in primary care, public health or acute care.
Minimum of one (1) year experience in community needs assessment, community development and health promotion.
Other
Possess valid driver’s license and where required have access to a vehicle available for work.
Scheduled hours of work may be reduced (if applicable) during the rotation stipulated when a statutory holiday is recognized during that period
