This position will facilitate all stages of the buying process including requirements assessment, requesting supplier quotes, supplier negotiations, and supplier selection. The position will provide procurement support across all categories of spend at a global level. The position will also support Invesco’s procure-to-pay process through ePro and our shared service model as relates to the implementation of procurement strategies, supplier management and risk management. Responsibilities of the Role: Maintain proficiency in all relevant policies and procedures, including the ability to articulate and enforce those policies. Perform contract management functions including facilitating signature process, work with GBS team to ensure contracts are properly input into Contract Management System. Track and manage contract expirations, verify need for continuation of contracts, competitively bid/negotiate the underlying goods/services, revise contracts as necessary or terminate contracts. Process purchase orders and collaborate with Accounts Payable to resolve invoice discrepancies. Perform various systems tasks, including extracting data and creating management reports. Support contract implementation for business units. Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders on outstanding requests, open purchase orders, and any invoice/payment issues. Work with internal stakeholders and P2P process owners to improve efficiencies and effectiveness. Coordinate team efforts to construct RFQ’s, RFI’s and RFP’s in support of strategic sourcing. Participate in requisition-to-pay process for products and services. Review requisitions daily and issue standard PO’s within Oracle iProcurement system. Partner with Category Leads to learn and support the sourcing end-to-end process. Effectively communicate oral and written resolution of issues with all internal and external partners. Apply established procedures, policies, and standards with little or no supervisory guidance. Perform basic project management as assigned. Proactively initiate periodic review of work progress, action plans, and deliverables with manager. Requirements of the Role: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification or ability to demonstrate equivalent academic caliber required 5 to 8 years of experience and demonstrated proficiency in ERP procurement transactions. 5 to 8 years’ requisition-to-payment process experience. 2 to 6 years’ tactical sourcing experience. Experience with Continuous Improvement or Six Sigma methodology a plus. Experience with Oracle transaction processing a plus. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems (Oracle Cloud, ZIP experience a plus). Project management/CPM certification a plus. Strong problem-solving skills. Excellent organization and time management skills. Excellent customer service skills. Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and staff at all levels.
