Hiring Unit: School of Continuing Studies / Student Services SSEM Casual part-time position Position Summary: JOB SUMMARY: Under the direction of the immediate supervisor, the incumbent may perform some or all of the listed general administration functions. These functions are of high complexity and the incumbent performs them using general instruction. Assists students for any emergencies they may have. Assists in organizing by-weekly check-in meetings with students who are attending classes from abroad to ensure everything is going smoothly for them. Provide suggestions to the students on activities to do in town. Accompany students to their classrooms during the first week of the program and be present in their welcome session if needed Assists with responding to emails, phone calls and any general inquiries with prospective students. Assist the manager in preparing schedules and reports. Assist with the preparation of minutes, agendas, and any other general briefing documents Organizes individuals as well as events related to student Services (meetings, workshops, internships and sessions).
