Be part of a dynamic team and let your leadership shine at the heart of an exciting professional adventure! Nationex is currently seeking an Operations Supervisor for its Operations department. Responsibilities: Manage sorting and the performance of daily operations Receive drivers, confirm loading and unloading with dispatch and the supervisor, and report any anomalies to the responsible driver Validate and confirm data in the computer system Handle damaged parcels during your shift and forward them to the parcel damage sorter along with the damage reports Compile, complete, and send reports requested by various departments Ensure workplace integrity and safety at all times Actively participate in team meetings Conduct regular floor rounds during your shift Work collaboratively to ensure all parcels received are delivered within the next 24 hours Enforce company rules and policies as needed Maintain courteous behavior to foster harmonious working relationships with employees, clients, and partners of Nationex Manage employee schedules Respond to sorters’ requests and direct them to the appropriate contacts Qualifications: College or university degree in operations management or supply chain management Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role Good knowledge of current transportation industry regulations Comfortable with transportation-related software tools Bilingualism (required) Desired Qualities: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Energy and positivity Strong organizational skills Initiative Sense of responsibility Problem-solving abilities Benefits of Working at Nationex: A family-oriented, pleasant, and inclusive work environment A team-focused and collaborative atmosphere Competitive salary with annual increases Group insurance Access to telemedicine services Referral bonus up to $500
