BUSINESS ANALYST - FME
The Business Analyst for Trisura’s Business Application Management Office is a member of the product team who will guide and support the activities of product development. This is a hybrid role that encompasses business analysis, application configuration, testing and coordination of UAT, deployment activities.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
Build knowledge to expert level on the FME application
Configure FME to convert broker bordereau to application standard templates
Develop, produce, and maintain procedures, process maps, and documentation as required including business requirements, data maps, test cases and release notes to audit level quality
Create and maintain partnerships with key stakeholders across business and IT.
Create and maintain plans, change logs, issue logs etc. keeping them up to date at all times
Work with the vendor to resolve complex issues in a timely manner
Provide support for production issues as required
Communication of updates as required to stakeholders
Escalation of issues in a timely manner to manager to ensure there are no surprises.
Qualifications:
Experience in the Financial Services industry is essential
Have had a lead role in data integration, migration or a system conversion project.
Insurance Industry background is a definite asset
Can demonstrate standout achievements among peers
Understanding of user-centered design principles and quality standards
University degree in the field of Business or Technology, Masters level advantageous
Business Analyst (CCBA or CBAP) certification is an asset
Excellent communication, presentation, written and leadership skills. Able to present at the executive level.
