Job Description
We are currently looking for motivated individuals to join our team in Laval, Quebec. Reporting to the team leader, the Mobile Service Mechanic ensure the maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of heavy equipment directly on-site, while complying with safety standards and providing technical support as needed.
What you’re responsible for:
Perform maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, including general, periodic, preventive, and corrective tasks.
Diagnose issues and analyze failures to identify causes and determine necessary repairs and estimated timeframes.
Complete required documentation, such as work orders and inspection reports, and report any issues or delays to the supervisor.
Ensure service vehicle readiness, including proper tools and cleanliness, before heading to job sites.
Follow health and safety regulations and provide technical support to internal clients when needed.
Qualifications

You have extensive experience in heavy equipment maintenance, with a strong ability to maintain, diagnose, and repair construction machinery on site.
You excel in mechanical diagnostics, with proven skills in analyzing failures, identifying root causes, and performing effective repairs.
You are recognized for your technical knowledge, particularly in hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems used in construction equipment.
You have a keen eye for detail, ensuring accurate completion of work orders and inspection reports while maintaining high repair standards.
You demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, enabling you to quickly assess issues and determine efficient repair and maintenance solutions.
You are committed to safety, with a solid understanding of occupational health and safety (OHS) standards and a proactive approach to maintaining a safe work environment.
