THE ROLE
We are actively looking for an Intern Analyst, Trading, Liquidity and Exposure Management (TLEM) to join our team for a 4-month internship (May 2026 – August 2026). This role will be part of a growing and dynamic TLEM team, reporting into the Associate Principal, TLEM. The TLEM team is responsible for trading various products and following best execution practices. The incumbent will be responsible for helping on a variety of projects, with a focus on building trade generation and exposure monitoring tools across multiple asset classes.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a student to gain valuable work experience in a fast-growing, dynamic environment while being a part of a new pension plan.
This role is based in downtown Toronto in a hybrid work environment, allowing employees the flexibility to work remotely and in-office (minimum two days per week in-office).

SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES
Exposure Management
Support derivative activities by analyzing exposures and monitoring transactions in products such as equity futures
Currency Hedging
Assist in FX trading
Liquidity Management
Assist in building portfolio management tools for fixed income securities, including repos\
Provide support on various trading execution and activities
Decision Support and Ad-Hoc Analysis
Contribute to designing and implementing automated solutions that streamline workflows, including database integration, application development, and automated report generation/distribution
Perform analysis to support Trading activities, including exposure management, and building analytical capabilities
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Pursuing or recent graduate of an undergraduate degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field, or related Masters’ program
Possesses basic knowledge of and a keen interest in finance
Proficient in Python, SQL, and Excel VBA programming
GitLab experience a plus
