YOUR ROLE:
As a commercial real estate paralegal, you will be responsible for a portfolio of commercial leases.
Your responsibilities will include:
Drafting and preparing documents related to commercial premises, including creating, renewing, modifying, or transferring lease agreements;
Conducting in-depth legal research in specialized databases such as Soquij, as well as with government agencies (Business Registry, Corporations Canada, Land Registry, etc.);
Consulting and analyzing court records via civil, criminal, and penal court transcripts;
Producing and submitting the required declarations to the competent authorities to ensure the annual compliance of corporate entities;
Compiling and organizing the legal documents required for real estate transactions or financial operations.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
DCS in Paralegal Technology or other relevant diploma;
Experience in commercial real estate in a similar position;
Good level of bilingualism, spoken and written;
Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite;
Organizational skills and ability to manage several files at the same time;
Autonomy, versatility, and team spirit.
