This Position reports to:
BL Manager Digital
In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead a global or local business. Each day, you will assume responsibility for end-to end business activities including operations, portfolio and commercial. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring profitable business growth in these areas.
The work model for the role is: hybrid, based in Montreal, Canada.
This role is contributing to the Process Industries Digital business in Americas (covering both North and South America). Main stakeholders are Business Lines, Sales, Operations and Finance.
Your Role: Own the Challenge
Ensuring profitable business growth by implementing the operating unit’s business strategy, with responsibility for Profit and Loss, performance targets and improvement actions
Overseeing production facilities within the operating unit to ensure targets are achieved and high-quality products, services, and processes are delivered
Improving manufacturing technology and competence in line with strategy
Driving marketing and sales, through the implementation of new functional processes and tools, to maximize sales efficiency and effectiveness
What it takes to run what runs the world
You are highly skilled in industrial digital software and the mining and minerals, pulp, paper & fibre and metals & power conversion markets
You have 15 years of experience in the industrial advanced software space working as commercial and operations leader with industrial software solutions and relevant customers
Possess an enhanced knowledge in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Advanced Process Control, Asset Performance Management, Energy Management as well as latest AI/ML, GenAI and cloud/edge technologies
You demonstrate innovation in collaboration and team leadership
Proven experience in industrial software/engineering/process technologies
You are at ease communicating in English; Portuguese and/or Spanish will be an advantage
You hold a valid right-to-work visa in Canada
Travel up to 30% will be required for the role
