As the guardian for the release process, you will be primary contact for the development team. Manage the release candidate which includes new features, bug fixes, patches and similar requests. Help identify the causing JIRA and work with the relevant development team to resolve potential issues. Work closely with developers on how a feature needs to be rolled out and, of course, how it might be rolled-back if an issue is seen. Day to day management of code and deployment in all environments. This might include improving our current framework, or even re-architecting parts of our test and deployment process. The production deployment activities will require some weekend work (on-rotation basis). 5+ years working as a hands-on developer in Information Technology or related field. 3+ years of relevant experience A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field. A thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle A solid understanding of the Release Management process including release automation Foundations in server-side Java running on Linux Strong foundation in RESTful design practices Knowledge on Open API Specification Knowledge of Jenkins and CI/CD, or similar tools and methods Experience with end-to-end testing, test concepts, test automation and best practice Experience with various authentication methods such as SPNEGO, Siteminder, Kerberos, and LDAP (a plus) Build a career with impact.
