Job Summary: We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed, and self-motivated team player to join our Supply Chain Management group as the SCM Analyst. This position will play a key role in data analysis and reporting practices, building an improved supply chain strategy for FLIR Integrated Imaging Solutions. The position will be partnering cross-functionally to maximize value across all areas of Supply Chain. The ideal candidate is passionate about analytics and would have a keen attention to detail, strong business acumen, exceptional organizational skills, and come with a process-oriented approach. Primary Duties & Responsibilities: · Improve operational productivity and purchasing effectiveness through data analytics, including tool development, improvement and adoption (SAP, MS Power BI, Data Warehouse, Confluence, JIRA, SharePoint, Silicon Expert and others). · Provide clear, simple and actionable reporting · Support purchasing team in Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning analytics and provide data-driven support for material disposition and supply forecast planning · Support development and implementation of new processes and programs (product introductions, material planning and obsolescence, inventory management, cost roll updates) · Set up supplier scheduling agreement (Kan Ban) programs in SAP, provide Just-In-Time call maintenance, material status and process flow monitoring, issue resolution and reporting · Analyze requirements and build recommendations for improved purchasing, order cycle and stock level strategies · Analyze End-Of-Life and Obsolesce risk data, recommend and support material lifecycle management strategies · Support ERP Bills of Materials (BOMs), material item master and supplier account data organization and reporting within ERP system · Support inventory target initiatives, including analytics for inventory optimization · Produce regular reporting as related to SCM and purchasing requirements, metrics and KPIs · Support purchasing team in ISO:9001 quality management system re-certification audits and continuous improvements · This position requires flexibility with changing and / or performing new duties Job Qualifications: Essential Qualifications: · Bachelor’s degree (Statistics/Mathematics/Business or Finance) and SCM certification (such as SCMA, APICS, PLog, CPM, CPP); or equivalent combination of education and experience · Minimum 3+ years of data analytics experience, preferably in a manufacturing and/or a high-tech electronics environment · Minimum 3+ years experience with ERP systems, SAP preferred · High competency level in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel · Experience compiling and evaluating complex data models · Experience analyzing trends and identifying potential improvements, best practices, and unseen opportunities / risks · Experience with rolling out programs and templates to capture, understand and simplify market data Preferred Qualifications: · Knowledge of electronics and manufacturing procurement (would be considered an asset) · Experience with Just-In-Time supply manufacturing agreements and/or Vendor Managed Inventory programs · Experience with supporting large-scale complex projects, such as New Product Introductions and Product Changes · Knowledge of Purchasing and Supply Chain Systems and LEAN principles · Strong time management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment · Experience with ISO:9001 quality management standards and audit processes · Strong financial / business acumen Interpersonal Skills: · Exceptional attention to details · Strong analytical, critical thinking and complex problem-solving skills · Strong communication skills Teledyne and all our employees are committed to conducting business with the highest ethical standards.
