What You’ll Get To Do: Organize building & facility contractor maintenance activities for the plant. Coordinate the monitoring, evaluation and modification of the preventative, predictive and proactive maintenance programs to ensure maximum equipment uptime and efficient use of resources. Develop and maintain files and drawings for the maintenance department (eg. drawings, checklists, maintenance history, etc.) Assist the maintenance manager in the preparation of the annual maintenance budget; the development of the department's long-term goals and objectives to meet the overall plant operational and cost goals. Collaborate with maintenance planner in the planning of all major equipment outages and significant repairs by utilizing project-planning techniques and software. Who we are looking for: Strong technical proficiency in mechanical and electrical areas Bachelor’s degree in engineering required, Mechanical engineering discipline strongly preferred. Solid understanding of preventive/predictive/corrective maintenance principles, techniques and technologies Familiarity with industrial plant operations, plant equipment, repair techniques and resource planning Excellent organizational skills with a good working knowledge of filing systems for drawings, manuals, and equipment records. Solid computer skills including knowledge of computerized maintenance software; prior experience with project management software and electronic timekeeping systems a plus.
