Who we need
We are looking for a Child and Family Clinician to join our Counselling Services team. In this role, you will provide individual, family, and group therapy to youth aged 12–24 and their families, helping them navigate mental health, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
You will build trusting, therapeutic relationships that create a safe and supportive space for healing. Utilizing attachment-based, trauma-informed, and healing-centered approaches—through an equity, anti-racist, and inclusive lens—you will deliver impactful, client-centered care.
This is an onsite position requiring a schedule that includes at least two evenings per week, ending at 8:00 p.m.

How you will make an impact
Conduct assessments. Complete psychosocial and intergenerational assessments to inform treatment planning and safety strategies.
Plan treatments. Collaborate with youth and families to establish therapeutic goals and recommendations.
Deliver therapy. Provide individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-informed, trauma-focused approaches; lead safety planning and manage crisis situations.
Document and report. Maintain timely and accurate clinical notes, reports, and incident documentation.
Collaborate. Partner with clinical teams, schools, and community stakeholders to design and deliver impactful programs.
Continue learning. Participate in supervision, training, and case consultations to support professional growth
What you bring
Education and registration. Master’s degree in a therapy or psychotherapy-related field and registration with a regulated health college permitting the delivery of psychotherapy. Membership with CAMFT or OAMFT is an asset.
Experience. Minimum of 2 years of post-Master’s experience providing trauma-informed psychotherapy to youth and families, including crisis management and safety planning.
Cultural competence. Proven ability to provide anti-racist, culturally responsive care to diverse populations, including 2SLGBTQIA+ youth and BIPOC communities.
Clinical expertise. Strong skills in systemic formulation, treatment planning, family therapy, and evidence-based practice.
Professionalism. High ethical standards, emotional intelligence, and accountability in all interactions.
Technical skills. Proficiency with EHR systems, Microsoft Office, and virtual communication tools.
Communication. Excellent listening and interpersonal skills; additional languages are considered an asset.
