Supply Planner – Manufacturing Industry – 1 Year Contract
Factors Group are looking to hire a Supply Planner to join our team in this hybrid role in Coquitlam! Are you a seasoned capacity planning professional with a knack for navigating the complexities of manufacturing supply chains?
We are a large manufacturing company looking for a Supply Planner who thrives in the fast-paced world of manufacturing. If you bring expertise in planning, continuous improvement, and a solid manufacturing background, we want to hear from you. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring seamless operations by fostering strong internal stakeholder relationships, optimizing inventory, and keeping our production lines running smoothly.
Temporary Full-Time (40 hours)
Monday to Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm (flexible);
Hybrid in the office in Coquitlam
1 Year Contract
In this role, you will:
Implement detailed supply plans driven by sales forecasts, ensuring level-loading on constrained resources within current manufacturing and operation systems.
Create, confirm, and issue jobs based on available resources
Generate supply plans to focus on service level targets
Collaborate with cross functional teams to resolve issues related to supply chain while also looking out for opportunities related to continuous improvement
Respond promptly to unexpected stock-outs or forecast changes
Provide timely updates to internal stakeholders, related to supply changes, constraints and product availability
Follow and adhere to SOPs and GMP requirements

You have:
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
2+ years experience in planning within the manufacturing, pharmaceutical or nutraceutical industries in a high volume / high mix environment.
A continuous improvement mindset. We are a growing company and not all of our processes have kept up with our growth.
Experience with MRP systems
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment while managing multiple priorities.
