What you’ll do:
Reporting to the General Manager, the Division Manager, Food & Liquor is responsible for providing strategic leadership and operational excellence across our food and liquor store locations. As part of our senior leadership team, you will guide a talented group of department managers to deliver outstanding service, foster team culture, and drive growth and profitability while living our Co-op values of Integrity, Respect, and Excellence.
Build strong relationships with staff, suppliers, partners, and customers to ensure high-quality service and operational success.
Identify opportunities for business growth through acquisitions, new developments, and enhanced product offerings.
Monitor key performance indicators and implement strategies to improve operational and financial outcomes.
Champion brand consistency, guest experience, and Co-op standards across all departments.
Lead, coach, and develop department managers to achieve operational excellence and foster a high-performance culture.
Ensure compliance with all food safety, liquor, and occupational health and safety regulations.
Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Who you are:
You are an experienced retail leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys mentoring teams to success. You have a passion for people, operations, and community.To be successful, you’ll bring:
Minimum 8+ years of proven experience managing a successful retail operation.
At least 5 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
Post-secondary education in Business, Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Strong financial management, planning, and analytical skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead multiple departments or locations effectively.
Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
Working knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety, food safety, and liquor compliance standards.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and retail management systems.
Class 5 driver’s license and ability to travel between locations as required.
