We are seeking a Business Analyst, Agile Product Owner to lead strategic data modernization initiatives, serving as the key liaison between business and technical teams. This is a Director level position within the Business Information Services, which specializes in providing and maintaining business information services for the Firm, including front-office research and analytics, data product management, management of data services, data storage, and conducting research related projects. This role drives requirements gathering, solution validation, and process documentation, while managing the product backlog and conducting Agile ceremonies. Read on… What you'll do in the role: Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to translate business needs into actionable requirements for Corporate Services data warehouse Lead requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation for the migration of IBM DB2 data warehouse assets to Snowflake. Support solution design, user acceptance testing, and validation to ensure business needs are met and reduce risk of rework. Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and regulatory requirements throughout the migration lifecycle. Act as Agile Product Owner for the existing IBM DB2 data warehouse, managing and prioritizing the product backlog. Conduct Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. What you'll bring to the role: Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. At least 6 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or similar role supporting IBM DB2 database environments. Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and user stories. Familiarity with data governance, data quality, and compliance best practices. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, developers, SMEs, and change management leads. Experience with business intelligence tools, automation platforms, and AI/ML use cases is a plus.
