Now, if you were to come on board as a Marketing Specialist, we’d ask you to do the following for us:
Develop, execute and evaluate significant marketing activities for Business Excellence and sector-specific programs to increase Like For Like Sales
Create meal plan strategies and communication plans to support the Sector vision
Consult and collaborate with Sr. Operations management on marketing programs
Communicate objectives and desired results of Marketing programs and services to Operations and Marketing team to ensure understanding and commitment
Regularly review and monitor budget and sales targets
Develop and implement new internal and external communication tools such as client newsletters, internal Retail Foodservice bulletin, semester business reviews and attractive customer advertising to increase awareness of initiatives and keep stakeholders informed
Develop and deliver appropriate training and training materials to Marketing and Operations to support marketing strategies
Tracking qualitative and quantitative data, measure and analyze impact of marketing strategies and programs to ensure a positive financial impact
Maintain and bring to the table a big picture marketing perspective, keep abreast of marketing trends and conduct competitive analysis of the marketplace
Assist with development of proposals and documentation for account re-bids and, where applicable, new strategic sales
Support marketing activities for priority and strategic accounts

Bachelor Degree or College Diploma in marketing or general business
10 – 15 years’ experience in marketing or operations
Knowledge of retail marketing and merchandising, sales skills (both retail and strategy) as well as program development and deployment
Team player with strong verbal and written communication and analytical skills
Knowledge of food and catering trends
