Torc's Autonomy Applications software utilizes cutting-edge deep learning techniques to perceive the vehicle's environment, predict the movements of other vehicles, and execute accurate driving decisions. We are actively seeking highly experienced ML 1 to join our model development department. What you'll do
Develop learned ISP systems
Design and train learned ISP systems
Analyze and debug ISP systems
Apply data science to evaluate raw sensor and ISP processed data
Contribute to framework and infrastructure for our ISP stack
Develop efficient pipelines for large-scale data pre-processing and analysis.
Implement data augmentation, synthetic data generation, and domain adaptation strategies to improve model robustness.
Cross-functional Collaboration
Collaborate with robotics, software, and simulation engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of our ISP stack.
Work with product and operations teams to define performance metrics and improve system reliability.
What you’ll need to Succeed
Master's degree with 2-3+ years of experience or PhD level education (in progress PhD is accepted)
Scientific understanding of ISPs particularly learned ISPs.
Scientific understanding of machine learning for at least one of the following
3D BEV space modeling
Actor prediction
Learned trajectory planning
Autonomous driving end to end modeling
Multimodal multitask machine learning
Calibration, odometry, localization
Object Detection & Tracking
Experience with understanding data distributions and analyzing long tail distributions
Mastery of Python and PyTorch, with the ability to transition research level code to production and deployment ready standards
