INTAKE COORDINATOR

JOB SUMMARY
The Intake Coordinator, under the direction of the immediate Supervisor, is responsible for timely data entry of all client referrals and updated information. This is a hybrid position with most work being completed from home.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitor multiple intake portals for various document types
Process documents to appropriate branch within specified time frames
Complete data entry with high degree of accuracy
Assist with document tracking and workload measurements
Participate in client satisfaction initiatives
Participate in ongoing internal and/or external continuing education activities
Adhere to Bayshore Policies and Procedures
Participate in quality activities and continuous improvement initiatives in keeping with the company's Quality Management System
Participates in proactive Health & Safety activities while performing all duties. Is responsible to notify immediate Supervisor of any Health & Safety risks or concerns
Maintains confidentiality of both client and corporate information, and discusses such information with authorized Bayshore personnel
Complete other tasks as requested

Education
Minimum - Secondary School Diploma
Completion of an Administrative Assistant Program is preferred
Medical Terminology is an asset
Experience
A minimum of two years related customer service experience, preferably in healthcare
Proficiency working in data bases and with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Other Skills and Abilities
Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Ability to meet deadlines and strong commitment to continual learning
Demonstrated competency in keyboarding and Windows scheduling software
Ability to operate all standard office equipment
Ability to speak English is required, the ability to speak French is an asset
Minimum 30 w.p.m typing speed required
