General Manager
The General Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day business operations of the venues. Through the exercise of discretion and independent judgment, the General Manager has overall supervisory and managerial responsibility for the daily operations of the venues, ensuring desired outcomes (i.e., increased sales, profitability, and employee retention). The General Manager mobilizes the venue management team to oversee the financial controls, operations, people development, guest experience, and compliance within the venue.

What You’ll Do:
If it's happening at the venue, you are a part of it! Planning, executing, elevating - you do it all
You do what it takes to increase sales and minimize costs without compromising quality
Ensure compliance with operational standards, company policies, federal/provincial /local laws, and ordinances
Manage all areas of the venue and make final decisions on matters of importance
Effectively communicate and interact with all departments across the venue, including the BOH management team, as well as the BHC Head Office
While you’re very focused on ensuring outstanding guest service, responding to complaints, taking appropriate action, and generating return guests, you also recognize the importance of employee experience and building a strong team culture

What You Have:
You don't shy away from working with various types of technology and systems, including the ability to troubleshoot, update, and train team members
You need to not only be an amazing team player but also have a knack for bringing others together to work towards a common goal
You're a real person - it's not just about customer service for you, it's about hospitality
Understanding of the importance of communication and workplace culture
Willing to take a step back to look at things from other perspectives and be open to a different way
Ability to work with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times
Flexible schedule required
Proven success in a General Manager role is an asset
