Job Summary
Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, the Quality Document Administrator will complete manufacturing record document packages of manufactured and assembled components for released product to customers. The Quality Document Administrator will coordinate with other departments including sales, purchasing, assembly, and shipping/receiving, and will assist QA/QC as required.
Duties and Responsibilities
Quality Assurance (40%)
Oversee and ensure all manufacturing documents and records are compliant to QMS and customer requirements
Verify that Set Out Inspections, Product Traceability Records, Steelhaus Inspection Reports, Part Inspection Reports, and Final QA traceability have been completed correctly and completely
Initiate Nonconformance Reports where requirements are not met using the Steelhaus NCR WebApp
Ensure that all assigned NCRs are closed and recorded correctly
Follow documented work instructions, processes, and procedures in the performance of duties
Office Duties (60%)
Emails, scanning, photocopying, printing, and filing
Accurately and completely prepare and submit full QA Doc Packs including QCP1, QCP2 and special customer requirements and provide Green Lights for shipping
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Minimum 2 years experience in data entry and technical administration
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
Experience with System Document creation, revisions, and release
Demonstrated ability to perform records preparation and interpret customer requirements and specifications
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and QA software tools
Knowledge of industry standards an asset (ISO 9001, API Q1)
