Job Description What is the opportunity? As a RPA Developer in RBC Capital Markets, you will assess, research, analyze and document sponsor/stakeholder needs in relation to Capital Markets Business and Client Services’ projects with particular emphasis on RPA (Robotic Process Automation). You will help identify automated solutions that satisfy sponsor/stakeholder needs. This role will provide assistance with designing and mapping business processes and procedures. The successful incumbent would be required to: analyze current state processes and provide meaningful suggestions for process re-engineering and technology implementation to improve efficiency and controls; Support the detailed requirement phases by identifying, tracking, escalating and/or resolving requirements issues; Prepare and consolidate technical and business requirements documentation; Assist in the preparation of the implementation plan; Engage Automation Leads to plan, develop, and execute on automation initiatives; Support User Acceptance and Integrated Systems Testing by initiating the planning and development of test cases and the execution of tests; Effectively communicate and build rapport with team members, stakeholders, and business partners using a variety of techniques and collaboration from initiation to close. What will you do? Assist in analysis on projects in accordance with the RBC Project Management Framework (PMF) Design, develop and test complex Robotics Process Automation solutions using latest automation technologies (currently Blue Prism) Facilitate workshop sessions to elicit requirements, resolve problems/inefficiencies, communicate project status, and align expectations with stakeholders Analyze workflow processes and recommend solution Manage multiple concurrent project tasks Prepare accurate, timely and compliant documents/reports Work closely with Subject Matter Experts and project manager to deliver solutions Participate in testing initiatives Achieve and maintain highest levels of customer satisfaction Be a technology advocate and share expertise with other team members. Be a key partner to the business and the rest of the team throughout the delivery cycle Think through challenging and interesting problems and solve them with your team What Do You Need to Succeed? Must Have Minimum 2 years of RPA process development experience using Blue Prism automation software Advanced .NET Framework competency or extensive experience with other programming frameworks Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) An Agile mindset and team player Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, including presentation skills Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Finance, Engineering, Science or Math desirable Experience in assessing key business processes and documentation of process flows Self-motivated, able to work independently Able to manage multiple priorities Above average skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, Visio, PowerPoint, etc.) Ability to build strong, relationships with clients and stakeholders across the enterprise Ability to facilitate the requirements gathering and analysis of key business process needs and toolset gaps Good working knowledge of Capital Markets Business and Client Services functions and processes What’s in it for you?
