49 Solutions is seeking a Senior Computer Support Specialist to provide advanced technical support services for our client in the Federal Government sector.
Overview:
The role contributes to the design, coordination, and implementation of secure data transfer solutions within the Compute Hub, enabling one-way data movement between Google Cloud and CSNI environments. It also supports interoperability between classified and unclassified domains, while adhering to engineering standards and ITIL-based change management practices.
Minimum Requirements:
Certificate, diploma, or degree in computer science (or related field) from a recognized Canadian post-secondary institution
Minimum 24 months of relevant computer support or technical experience
Typical Duties May Include:
Coordinating emerging technology application specifications
Acting as a liaison between vendors, technicians, and end-users
Providing user training and technical support for emerging technologies
Reproducing and resolving technical issues
Implementing and advising on complex security requirements
Supporting network, system, and Internet-related issues
Maintaining logs of problems and solutions
Designing and deploying server-based systems and applications
Participating in department-wide system upgrades
