Inovata Foods Corp.is looking for an MRO Buyer to partner with us as we bring families and friends together through offering wholesome and convenient meals. The role is located in our Tillsonburg, Ontario facility. Inovata Foods Corp. is a major producer of wholesome control brand frozen meals for many of North America’s largest retailers.
Primary Responsibilities:
Take requests for required materials, consumables, parts, and equipment for the Maintenance Department.
Procure the above items from approved vendors to the required standard and quality.
Obtain quotes and order all maintenance materials, consumables, parts, and equipment.
Prepare requisitions and purchase orders.
Source best possible pricing and seek competitive bids for service and price agreements.
Maintain purchasing and inventory records.
Facilitate the removal of all waste as needed.
Keep the stock room organized, maintain stock levels, and explore improvements for inventory control.
Monitor and support maintenance work order completion (e.g., tracking open, in-progress, and completed work orders).
Collaborate with the Maintenance team to ensure timely availability of materials and equipment
Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
2–3 years of experience in a similar role (e.g., procurement, MRO buyer, inventory management).
Experience working in a manufacturing environment or transferable skills from a similar industry.
Experience using spreadsheets, databases, and general computer literacy.
Experience using a maintenance management system (e.g., Fiix, CMMS, SAP PM) — will be a key talking point during interviews.
Knowledge of accounts payable processes.
Strong internal customer focus and ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Safety conscious, highly professional, and reliable.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of urgency.
Additional safety or maintenance system training is considered an asset.
Working Conditions:
