The manager will work closely with the Publications Leads for each assigned disease area to ensure quality, accuracy and scientific narrative flow. The manager will be responsible for managing all publication logistics with the vendor where applicable. What you will be doing: Partners with HEOR and Global Medical colleagues to develop assigned publications within the global disease publication plans Responsible for publication execution across disease areas Ensures compliance with sponsor publication policy and external publication guidelines Works with assigned vendor to ensure the publication is executed on time, within budget and with exceptional quality Your profile: PhD, or MA/MS with appropriate experience Typically requires 4 years of experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience Ability to work collaboratively with multiple internal functions and external stakeholders Clear understanding of current publication environment, ICMJE, GPP3, and other global guidelines related to publications, scientific data communication, and transparency standards Strong computer and database skills, particularly with Microsoft Office products and Datavision Ability to manage vendors Demonstrated ability to be a fast learner and has a “can-do” attitude Demonstrated knowledge and effectiveness in the execution of publications What ICON can offer you: Our success depends on the quality of our people.
