MFM Limited Partnership is looking for an individual to join our team as a Shop Support in Fort McMurray, AB.
Purpose & Key Accountabilities
Provide general hands-on support to town shop from different site locations along with duties as directed by the assigned Supervisor.
Duties & Responsibilities
Understand and adhere to MFM LP Safety Management System, policies, procedures, and values
Perform work and operate all equipment in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant legislation, company and site policies/procedures
Provide manual labour services
Driving tool delivery truck on all Oil Sands sites
Picking up and delivering tools on all Oilsands sites
Interacting with clients and tool crib attendants on items requiring repair
Ensure all equipment is safely and securely stored
Maintain daily records and reports as required
Industrial setting, working under permit experience preferred
Work well with others in a team atmosphere
Able to accept change in priorities in a fast-paced environment
Other duties as required by supervisor/manager
Working Conditions
The working environment is a shop yard and plant/mine environment. Working outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
Schedule: 4 days on, 3 days off, working 10 hours per day shift rotation
Work Location: Mainly based at the MFM Tools facility in Fort McMurray. Work locations may change occasionally due to operational requirements (potential for site-based work)
Overtime Eligibility: Some overtime may be required on occasion.
Requirements:
Valid Alberta Class 5 Driver’s License is mandatory
Eligible to work at all the Oil Sand sites in Fort McMurray
Clean Driver's Abstract is mandatory
Valid Common Safety Orientation (CSO) certification
Able to successfully obtain clearance of Pre-access Alcohol & Drug Screening test
