Job Description
Reporting to the Manager, Inventory Optimization, you will be responsible for optimizing revenue across a portfolio of routes. You will leverage data-driven insights, market intelligence, and system tools to manage seat inventory and integrate air + package strategies to maximize total revenue. This role is critical to achieving key performance targets such as revenue per available seat mile (RASM), load factor and yield.
Responsibilities
Route & Package Revenue Optimization: Manage a portfolio of routes, applying strategic levers and market insights to maximize revenue and profitability.
Forecasting & Analysis: Monitor booking trends, demand forecasts, and competitive dynamics; identify revenue opportunities and mitigate risks across air and package products.
System Management: Calibrate and validate Revenue Management system inputs and outputs to ensure accurate forecasting and alignment with market conditions; adjust availability controls to reflect demand signals.
Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze KPIs such as RASM, load factor, yield; adjust strategies based on performance insights.
Customer Behavior Insights: Develop a deep understanding of booking patterns, price sensitivity, and channel behavior to inform pricing and inventory strategies for both air and packages.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with RMS, Pricing, and other internal stakeholders to ensure cohesive and aligned strategies.
Package Strategy Integration: Collaborate with Tour Operator teams to optimize package pricing, inventory allotments, and channel mix; balance air-only demand with package demand to optimize revenue.
Qualifications
University degree in a relevant field and 1–3 years of experience in a similar role.
Familiarity with airline Revenue Management systems (e.g., PROS is an asset).
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI).
Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative and positive approach to teamwork.
Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and results-driven.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.
Creative, curious, and proactive with a strong sense of initiative.
Oral and written fluency in French and English A good knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec. The incumbent will be required to communicate and collaborate frequently in English, both orally and in writing, with colleagues, customers, and other stakeholders in Quebec, the rest of Canada, and internationally.
