The Sales Leader is accountable to develop and execute a national sales strategy built from the business plan, as directed the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) for FCT to achieve required business objectives in Canada. This role will be responsible for managing and leading a sales team to achieve profitable business growth, in addition to supporting the day to day Sales Management activities which include: funnel reviews, expense management, Salesforce usage, coaching, field visits and team and customer escalation. As a Sales Leader HERE’S HOW YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE: Execute National Commercial Sales Strategy Implement the national sales strategy aligned with company growth goals in the commercial title solutions. Identify target markets (REITs, law firms, lenders, developers, institutional investors) and prioritize high-value regions or asset classes. Drive Revenue Growth and Market Share Own and deliver on national revenue and profitability goals for commercial title insurance products and related services. Expand Fist Canadian Title’s presence with national and regional accounts, driving new business growth. Lead and Develop the Commercial Sales Organization Recruit, coach, and lead a high-performing team of regional commercial business development managers and account managers. Work with the CRO and Revenue Operations to establish performance metrics, incentive structures, and training programs that promote consultative, relationship-driven selling. Strategic Account and Relationship Management Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key national clients — including law firms, commercial brokers, lenders, developers, and institutional investors. Forecasting, Pipeline, and Sales Operations Oversee accurate forecasting, CRM (Salesforce) discipline, and pipeline visibility across all regions. Collaborate with Revenue Operations and Finance to provide the CRO with data-driven insights and performance analytics. Cross-Functional Collaboration with Underwriting, Marketing, and Operations Work closely with the underwriting and operations teams to align sales efforts with underwriting capacity, service delivery, and risk appetite. Partner with Marketing to develop campaigns, client events, and thought leadership content for the commercial real estate community. Reporting and Strategic Alignment with the CRO Provide the CRO with regular updates on national commercial sales performance, competitive landscape, and emerging market trends. Recommend strategic adjustments based on shifts in interest rates, and regional market dynamics. HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL BRING: Bachelor’s degree in Business Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior level sales position with proven success acting in a regional or national leadership capacity. Knowledge of the financial services and/or real estate industry Experience in building business in a region and having had the authority to execute strategy, coupled with a strong entrepreneurial spirit and passion for selling.
