Job Description: The Payroll Manager will work collaboratively with other Staff Services teams, including Benefits, Compensation, Scheduling, and Accruals, to integrate payroll operations into broader workforce strategies and improve efficiency, consistency, and quality of service delivery. The manager will be one of 4 managers, that would oversee a provincial payroll team with staff located in North, Rural, Saskatoon, and Regina, ensuring standardization of processes while addressing localized operational needs. The Payroll Manager is responsible for stabilizing payroll systems, resolving escalated payroll issues, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The role also plays a critical part in providing proactive guidance to operational leaders, addressing payroll-related challenges, and aligning payroll practices with SHA’s strategic vision to support patient-first care delivery.

Experience
3 years manager experience in complex computerized financial/payroll environment
Experience as a leader who has developed and led innovative planning
5 years experience in Payroll or Human Resources
Education
Human Resources diploma
Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
Human Resources certificate
Bachelor of Commerce (BComm)
Bachelor of Finance (BF)
Licenses
Valid Class 5 driver's license
Other Education and Training
Undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Licensed, and in good standing, with regulatory body, if applicable
